He quickly ran off, hoping that the yokel did not give chase. Luckily he was not being followed and he stopped just outside a field full of cows to catch his breath. Panting, he drew his sword- better be careful from now on. If he was attacked by any of the warring races he would need his sword due to the fact that he was only wearing chainmail.

Flint Darkwater hurried along the gloomy halls of the Grand Palace. If he didn't get to the Lord Adventurers office on time he would surely be fired or worse. He rounded a corner and finally came to the Lord Adventurers room. It was more of a hall than a room due to the fact that is was huge and filled with loot he had aquired when he was as young as Flint.
